A family of makers.

My father was an engineer who designed Barbie. My mother was a singer and performer. I grew up around people who made beautiful things and weren’t shy about it.

For ten years I was a portrait photographer. I learned to read light, to notice what flatters a face, and to make people feel at ease in front of me. All of that comes with me to the chair.

Later I trained at Headlines the Salon in Encinitas and became a licensed San Diego hairstylist. Today I specialize in blended balayage, lived-in blondes, dry cutting, curly haircuts, shags, bangs, long layers and face framing.
